Business Analyst

Since September 2024, I have been part of CBRE, where I’ve focused on deepening my functional expertise and gaining industry-specific experience.

As part of the Digital & Technology team, my role centers on supporting internal business units and stakeholders in maximizing business performance through data-driven insights and the smart use of digital tools and applications. I help enhance and maintain core work processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with both operational and strategic goals.

By identifying opportunities for improvement and delivering practical, tech-enabled solutions, I aim to drive continuous improvement and create tangible value for CBRE and its clients.

2022 - 2024

Business Analyst

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

As a mix of functional and strategy consultant, I collaborated with multiple scrum teams, ensuring stakeholder alignment and project progress. I supported eight client proposals on various strategy and management topics, managing overall report coherence and data requirements.

Additionally, I continued leveraging the team’s commerce platforms knowledge, such as SAP, Salesforce, marketplaces, and commercetools, throughout internal and external engagements. I'd love to chat and elaborate on those experiences!

2021 - 2022

Global Channel & Shopper Marketing Intern

Amersfoort, The Netherlands

As an intern during the start of covid-19, I immediately went into hands-on mode with the team to start the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) programme.

I trained and delivered workshops to global teams over a three-month period. I managed the tracking and reporting of the RGM programme's progress and supported the online training platform by directing content for specific topics.

2018 - 2019

Customer representative

I maximised my experiences during a gap year by joining Webhelp/ING. At the start, I obtained the Financial Supervision Act certificate (Wft basis) which comprises the rules and regulations for financial markets and their supervision. On a day-to-day basis, I assisted clients with the ING banking platform, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience. I managed account-related tasks, including opening and closing accounts, updating client information, and reporting issues.

2017 - 2018

3rd Party Operations Intern

Cheltenham, United Kingdom

My first job! And it was abroad too! In a completely English-speaking environment, I communicated directly with local agents, arranged external suppliers and events, and researched the travel & hospitality industry. The main goal was to prepare our A&K's compiling travel itineraries. Given that bookings were usually five figures, attention to detail and flawless management were crucial.

2020-2021

MSc Marketing, Analytics and Data Science

After my Premaster in Marketing, I chose to specialize in analytics, given the growth back then (and now). While the degree includes Data Science too, I would like to point out that it was mainly applied in marketing to a certain extent. It did give me a good understanding of a 'new language' (RStudio, SQL). My study evolved a lot around a mix of Data and Consumer Behaviour. That's also where I'd like to sit in my future career: right between the consumer and the technology (platforms)!

My extracurricular activity included being a board member and marketing officer for the Student Representation Association QUEST. I modernised the branding on the website and refreshed the social media posts. Amidst COVID-19, I lead the push for online presence by introducing new communication channels such as Discord.

2014-2018

BSc International Business and Management

The study International Business and Management was designed to be 'broad'. It gave students opportunities to learn everything and decide what they wanted to specialize in in the last year as well as for potential future studies. While many management-related courses were exciting, I decided that a mix of understanding business processes and serving customers was the right combination for me. After graduation, I went on to work for a brief period and pursue a Master's degree.
